"Beautiful" decribes both the case and the Westminster chimes in this Vedette Art-Deco style tambour clock.
The clock is 29 inches wide and has a nice wood finish. Numbers are on a dial ring and the wood finish shows
through in the middle. Platform escapement and French movement work.
Chimes on the quarter hours, strikes out the hours. Very impressive clock, but not running.

F. Marti French Regulator, ca 1900.
Some people spend a lot of money to make a new item look old. The old wormholes in this solid and reliable
clock from a "Gold Medal" winner are the real thing. The woodworms are long gone, of course, but they left behind
an interesting texture to the wood that couldnt be matched at any price. The porcelain dial is in great shape. Not running
